I’m Ariana Sverdlik, a seasoned global brand marketer with 12+ years of experience helping global companies shape their brand identities and connect with their audiences. Currently, I serve as Global Head of Brand at SumUp, where I lead all things related to brand marketing. From strategy and research to overseeing global campaigns, I work daily with Media, Design, PR, Social Media, SEO, Product Marketing, and more to ensure we bring the SumUp brand to life in meaningful ways.

Before joining SumUp, I honed my strategic planning skills at AKQA in Berlin, where I led branding efforts for luxury, travel, retail, and tech clients. My work focused on insights-driven strategies, consumer behavior analysis, and creating marketing strategies for brands like IWC Schaffhausen and GORE-TEX. Prior to that, I led social media strategies at public media network WNET and digital agency 87AM, working with brands including L'Oreal, Disney, Swarovski, Scholastic, Downton Abbey, Sherlock, and more. In all my roles, I’ve been driven by a desire to understand what makes brands unique and how they can build authentic connections with their audiences. 

When I’m not immersed in brand strategy or exploring the latest digital marketing trends, you’ll often find me drawing with pencil or charcoal. Whether it’s a brand story or an artistic rendering, I believe that creativity, continuous learning, and attention to detail are key to mastering any craft in this ever-evolving landscape.
